The breeze was developed as a soft, recreational/beginner mast needed for smaller sailors and smaller sails. It evolved into a great recreational/weekend sailors mast for people of all ages. The 270 is specifically designed for sails in the 3.0 and smaller range. Its smaller diameter fits inside regular extensions, or can be used with RDM extensions. It comes with a special shim so it fits regular booms.??

The 400 fits mosts sails from 3.0 to 5.0, the 430 is best suited for 5.0 and larger up to 6.0.
