The Freetime was designed by Tinho Dornellas for Gaastra, in 1999. It has become the standard against which all other beginner/school/recreational sails are judged.?It is very popular worldwide especiall among schools that have high standards of instruction.

This sail not only is great to learn on, but is a great all round recreationals sail for childern and adults. The sizes 1.5-2.5 are specifically designed for Childern. 3.0-4.0 work very well for 8-14 years of age depending on skill level. We recommend using the Fiberspar Breeze mast that is designed for these sails, and is a great value. If yo ulive in high wind areas and need a small freetime for adults, we still have the original 2.0 and 2.5 that are designed for childern and adults.

Be sure to specify this!! In the freetime line we have two constructions. One is in Xply the other in durable dacron, as needed by schools and resorts, or by folks that have boards on board their sailboats.
