CAMBER REMOVAL
 Image 16 shows a camber inducer inside the luff sleeve. With the sail de-rigged, remove the batten first. |
Image 17 : If the space is tight, flip the camber towards the trailing edge so it slips out of the webbing. Notice that some of the cambers are asymmetrical and that the slanted part faces the foot of the sail.
To insert, line up the camber over the batten webbing, with the camber facing the trailing edge. Gently flip the camber over, guiding it into the webbing. |
