Remove the boom by loosening the outhaul first, paying attention not to let the line get stuck in the cleat. Then release the front clamp and remove the line from the boom head hook.
Next you have two ways of getting the sail stored:
Option one:
Loosen the downhaul paying attention not to let the line get stuck in the cleat.
Remove the base extension, return to the boom area and pull the luff upward towards the mast tip. Let the foot of the sail swing downwind so you end up with the mast tip facing upwind. Go to the mast tip and remove the mast tip out of the mast, and pull the luff sock so the sail comes out of the mast. Continue to pull the sail out until you can easily remove the mast. Begin rolling the sail from the head, around the battens.

Option two:
Image 1 : Take out the battens, by loosening the batten tensioners

Image 2 : Then insert them in the luff pocket sewn below the boom opening.

Image 4 : When inserting the battens back into the pocket, always insert the leading edge first (thin end). The battens are tapered so they give an aerodynamic shape to the sail.
