Image 48 : When the boom is installed, be sure that the uphaul does not go over the handle of the boom. As you uphaul, the uphaul catches on the clamp lever and opens it accidentally.

Image 49 : When leaving your equipment on the beach, keep the sail from laying under the sun for extended periods of time. A rig bag is perfect to protect the sails from the sun, or choose a shaded area.

Image 50 : For short periods of time, leave the board and sail connected, the mast tip downwind of the board.

DE-RIGGING
Image 51 : For quick de-rigging, when releasing the downhaul, place a finger over the cleat so the tip of the line does not cleat itself by accident.

Image 52 : Use the same trick when undoing the outhaul.

The sail bag included has a mesh end so the luff can drain and dry. Place this end side down when storing the sail vertically.
