Image 1 : Choose a grassy area if possible, and unroll the sail so the head is downwind of you.

Do this staying low to the ground to avoid the sail flapping in the wind.
Place the boom on top of the sail, by the foot to keep the sail from flying away.
When you have the mast tip sitting close to the top of the sail, push the top of the sail so the tip insert goes inside the mast top plug.

Image 2 : on some sizes you will need to extend the head adjustment strap.
Once the tip is inserted, return to the foot, always holding onto the mast.


Image 3 : Thread the downhaul line.


Image 4 : Downhaul by hand until you feel resistance. (click image for text detail)
